SCOPE OF THE WORK
Shop and field execution for large-diameter water transmission infrastructure, including:
- Shop fabrication and welding of 72” diameter pipeline components
- Shop-applied industrial protective coatings in a controlled environment
- Field installation welding for pipeline assembly and integration
- Field-applied wrapping systems and protective coatings
- Application of advanced Oxi-Free coating systems for enhanced corrosion resistance
PROJECT DETAILS
Annacis Main No. 5 is a 1.3 km, 72-inch diameter water transmission pipeline forming part of Metro Vancouver’s Annacis Water Main North Project.
The scope includes:
- 40 miters
- 7 access ways
- 7 chambers
Delivered over an 18 to 24 month schedule, this project required high-precision fabrication, consistent weld quality, and durable coating systems to meet long-term municipal infrastructure standards.
